What's Blooming in November?

The
November butterfly garden is pretty much done for the year.
There are a few asters still in bloom, but most of the other
plants are displaying seed heads. The
goldenrod and
boneset are
particularly lovely,
The Savannah
shows more brown than green -- most of the plants have gone to
seed, but there are still a few blossoms here and there.
The round
bed in front of the center is still overflowing with asters
-mainly the pale blue
aromatic aster.
Because of
the drought, the trees skimped on their autumn display -- we
hope for better luck next year. We invite you to step inside
the center to see our colorful decorations.
The birds
are visiting the feeders at the back of the center -- check them
out.
