Due to KCMO city budget cuts and a reduction in staff, Lakeside Nature Center will change hours that the building is open to the public beginning the week of September 19, 2010.  Hours of Operation will be Tuesday through Saturday, 9 AM to 4 PM, Sunday from 10AM to 3PM.  Lakeside Nature Center will be closed Mondays.

Animals will still be checked into Lakeside's Rehabilitation Hospital on Sundays and Mondays even though the building is not open to the public.  Volunteer assistance in Rehab will still be very welcome Sundays and Mondays.

Programs about native Missouri Wildlife will continue as they have in the past, Tuesdays through Saturdays.
