2010 Release Statistics

In 2010, over two thousand orphaned and critically injured Missouri animals were brought to Lakeside Nature Center by nature lovers.  Dedicated staff and volunteers raised the infants and cared for the injured.  Many were successfully returned to the wild. 

The release counts are:

• 244 Birds

• 882  Mammals

• 68  Reptiles and Amphibians
