Hike with a Lakeside Naturalist!

Join a Naturalist from Lakeside Nature Center on trails within Swope Park. Explore the natural ecosystems of Oak-Hickory Forests, Riparian Zone Forests, Limestone Glades, Oak Savannas. Meet at Lakeside Nature Center. Bring a water bottle and dress appropriately for the weather. Trails will be chosen for each hike as appropriate for the season (i.e...no hiking in the wetlands during a flood!)...so call ahead the week of the scheduled hike to register and learn which trail will be explored. 816-513-8960. There is no fee for these guided Nature Hikes. Plan to return to Lakeside Nature Center around Noon.
