Lakeside Nature Center offers a variety of wildlife and environmental science programs and activities for families, children, schools, groups, and adults. Schedule an exciting program for your group or plan to attend one of our regularly scheduled wildlife presentations or events. A visit to Lakeside Nature Center is free. A small fee is charged for most programs.

• Lakeside Nature Center’s Outdoor Learning Lab is designed to complement and expand classroom studies about the natural world.  You, as the teacher or leader, choose objectives that you would like to emphasize based upon themes that we present.  Thus, you have the opportunity to customize the experience for your group.

• Homeschool Science Lab offers hands-on activities.
• Summer of Science Camp is perfect for the young naturalist 6-12 years old.
• Young children enjoy Mother Nature Reads every Saturday.
• Special Events, like Magic Woods, provide a great learning experience for everyone.
